Treatment of STI:

Treatment depends on the cause and may include conservative management by drinking good amount of water daily, and avoiding salts to treat simple urine infections, and you may need good antibiotic as levofloxacin 750 mg once daily to treat infection and if there is HIV infection, till now, there is no approved medication to cure HIV, and medication is used to treat symptoms and delay progression of disease.
The main treatment for HIV is antiretroviral therapy, which stops the virus from reproducing and keeping the immune system strong enough to fight off disease and helps keep HIV from progressing to AIDS.
It also helps reduce the risk of transmitting HIV to others.
 

Dignosis of STI:

It depends on the clinical examination of an urologist and investigations as urine analysis and culture to detect infection and its type, and semen analysis and culture, and HIV tests...etc

Symptoms of STI:

• Dysuria
• Burning sensation
• Low abdominal pain
• Low back pan
• General fatigue
• Fever...etc
