Hi doctor this is ashwini, today did my 5month pregnancy anomaly scan than after scan I found mild prominence of bilateral lateral ventricles 1cm right side and .9cm on left side
Is this any big problem, please suggest what to do I'm worried

Diletation of lateral ventricles in fetus
Generally, we did the congenital anomaly scan between 22 - 24 weeks gestation. There are many congenital anomalies can affect the fetus like brain problems. At most cases, there is no big problem if there is dilatation of brain ventricles but like problems should be evaluated again after delivery and if there is need to do surgeries or not.
Investigations to do
There is no need to do tests. But brain US and studies after delivery of the fetus.
