Hello doctor, am Florence and I was done an operation when I was 19 years due to an ovarian mass on my left side, since then I have never received my periods back, now am 29 and u was advised to do laparascope but it's very expensive, what can I do to bring back my periods without laparascopy?

Treatment of absent menses after ovarian mass surgery
Well, it is may related to abnormal hormones levels after surgery. It is better to seek your gynecologist for clinical evaluation and further investigations to determine the cause to restore your menses. You can take provera tabs twice daily for five days as it is expected to have your menses within ten days after stopping the drug.
Investigations to do
CBC for level of hemoglobin and plt and WBC levels. TSH levels for thyroid problems. Prolactin level also. LH and FSH level . US for uterus and ovaries and you also can do diagnostic laproscope also.
