Treatment of intermenstrual spotting
It is common symptom due to many factors and causes. Fristly, avoid stress and anxiety as you can. You have to seek your gynecologist for further evaluation to determine the cause of spotting. If it is related to infections or inflammation you can take azithromycin 1 gram once in addition to metronidazole 500 mg twice daily for 14 days.
Investigations to do
CBC for level of hemoglobin. US for uterus and ovaries. and ovarian markers like LDH.
