How to treat pain between the sternum and the back
it may be due to coronary artery disease which could be treated by aspirin and atorvastatin and bisoprolol and in severe cases coronary artery cathetarization and stent isertion is done to dilate the stenosed artery other possibel cause is gastroesophageal reflux disease which can be treated by omeprazole and you should decrease eating spicy foods and fatty meals
How to diagnose pain between the sternum and the back
you should be assessed by the physician and has ECG done to exclude the presence of coronary artery disease and if there is suspicion of gastroesophageal reflux disease then 24 ph monitoring can be done and Chest x ray can be done to exclude the presence of bone problem in the back
