Treatment of fever and general weakness:
Such complain is not a disease by its self, but it may be due many different causes and treatment depends on the cause, and to relieve fever you can use cold compressors and medications as paracetamol 500 mg as needed, and you may need antibiotic for bacterial infection as augmentin 625 mg three times daily, and you have to isolate yourself to avoid covid-19 transmission.
Diagnosis of the cause of fever and general weakness:
It depends on the clinical examination of your doctor and investigations as CBC to detect bacterial infection, chest x-ray for respiratory infection, PCR to exclude covid-19 infection...etc
Causes of fever and general weakness:
It may be due to many different causes as:
- Respiratory infection which associated with cough, sputum production
- Covid-19 infection...etc
