What is the treatment of thalassemia?
With a mild case, you may feel tired and not need treatment. But if it’s more  seriousTreatment might include blood transfusion and chelating agent if it cause iron overload. In some cases, your doctor might recommend that you take extra folic acid and other supplements like calcium and vit D . we also advise you to stay away from sick people and eat a healthy diet . Some people with thalassemia may need to undergo spleen removal surgery .

  • weakness 
  • pale and yellow skin 
  • Abdominal pain 
  • dark urine 
  • poor appetite 

What are Thalassemia complications ?
