Can you take testosterone medicaton ?
No, Hormonal therapy has so many side effects and it can't be taken without medical prescripion . 
What is the treatment in your case ? 
your doctor may prescibe Minoxidil which is a topical drug used twice daily on the affected area in the form of liquid of foam, and results usually appear after about 3 months  . you can also take Diphencyprone which is applied in bald patches or steroid medication in case of Autoimmune diseases . some medical procedure like hair implantation may be needed in some cases . Hormonal therapy and testosterone are replaced in cases of hormal defeciencies after performing some investigations.
