Treatment of puss from gland
It is sign of inflammation. Firstly, you have to keep your area clean and dry. The proper treatment of abscess is Incision & Draiange. Also, you have to take antibiotic like Ciprofloxacillin 500 mg twice daily for ten days till seeing your doctor. The proper treatment if the problem is recurrent is to remove the capsue or sac of pus area.
Investigations to do
CBC for level of hemoglibn and WBCs which is related to infalmmation and infections. You can take culture from pus to determine bacteria cause your infection. US or CT for area if problem is complicated
