Treatment of prolonged menstrual bleeding :
you should know the cause by visit your gynacologist and doing clinicla examination, and who might prescribe to you Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen 600mg 2 times daily which is the first line medical therapy for heavy and prolonged bleeding , or oral contraceptive pills  , or Progestin which is The most frequently prescribed medicine for heavy and prolonged bleeding

by taking full medical hiastory and doing Complete blood count , Coagulation factor studies , Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) level , Thyroid function tests and prolactin level ,  Hormone assays LH &FSH  and Pelvic ultrasonography
