Spermatocele and it's management ?
A spermatocele is an abnormal cyst that develops in the epididymis which is located on the upper testicle that collects and transports sperm. Noncancerous and generally painless, and is usually filled with milky or clear fluid that might contain sperm. They typically don't reduce fertility or require treatment. If a spermatocele grows large enough to cause discomfort, your doctor might suggest surgery
Diagnosis ?
Physical examination and history taking by urologist. CBC to rule out infection and ultrasound for testicles
Causes of spermatocele ?
The exact cause of spermatoceles isn't clear, but they might be due to a blockage in one of the tubes that transport sperm
Complications ?
A spermatocele is unlikely to cause complications
Advice:
It's recommended to visit the urologist for further assessment.
