I got wet in the ran. So i got throat pain, fever...
I got wet in the ran. So i got throat pain, fever and worse cough. I tested for corona but result is negative. Nw i went to meet physician for fever but not available. They sent me to the ENT bcz f throat pain. He gave me antibiotics "Z-mycin 500 mg". But fever not stopped. What should i do?

Treatment of sore throat:
According to your description, you can use paracetamol 500 mg 3-4 times daily, and you have to drink good amount of hot fluids, and you can use cetrizine 10 mg once daily for 5 days, and if there is bacterial infection, you can use azithromycin 500 mg once daily for 3-5 days.
Diagnosis of the cause of sore throat:
It depends on the clinical examination of your doctor and investigations as CBC to detect infection, PCR and chest x-ray to rule out COVID-19 infection
Causes of sore throat:
It may be due to:
- Viral infection which associated with low grade fever
- Bacterial infection which associated with high grade fever
- COVID-19 infection which associated with cough, arthralgia, dyspnea
Whay i advise you?

Thank u so much doctor fr your wonderful advice and i vil take paracetamol and then if it's still fever, i vil go to physician again
