Hello Doctor,
I have severe ear pain as I scratched my ear with fingernails. Past from 2days I'm taking panadol but for time being it cures. Its very painfull.

Treatment of ear pain
It is common type of pain due to many factors and causes. Firstly, avoid trauma in your ears. You can take analgesics like Ibbuprofen 400 mg three to four times daily to relieve pain. If there is an infection or inflammation you can take antibiotic like Amoxicillin 500 mg three times daily for one week
Investigations to do
It is a clinical diagnosis with no need to do blood tests. You can seek your doctor for otoscope examination
