hello,I have been getting vaginal discharge...
hello,I have been getting vaginal discharge changes .Signs,.itching, fishy odor discharge, burning urination.white or yellowish thick discharge. Please may I know which is the correct medicine to take

I when to hospital but they did urine test they said they can't find any infection. Early this year

Ones I go to the pharmacy they always give me ,,so tablets but after 2 to 3 weeks I get the same problem. Mostly they give me yeast infection tablets.Of which I guess this not the right tablets

How to treat vaginal discharge ?
Dear customer, there are different types of vaginal discharge with different causes. It can be water like but more thick (egg white) and this is normal which can occur during ovulation. However, the discharge can be resutled from an infection which can be treated by metronidazole 500mg twice a day for a week. If it's white cheesy discharge, the treatment will be Fluconazole 100 mg once. If you suffer from vaginal iching, you can use betamethasone cream three times per day. Furthermore, it's advised to wear a cotton underwear and to keep the vaginal area clean and dry.
How to get diagnosed ?
By history and simple physical examinations. If it's uncertain, sample from the secretions might be taking to be examined under the microscope

My vaginal discharge do change after my period. To yellow to green. The discharge is smelly as well I feel itching. I have been going to hospital..but one I finish taking the medicine the give me I'm fine ,then after my period I get the same problem.

you can repeat the same course of treatment to relieve your discharge. it is due to vaginal infection at most cases.
If there is recurrent infections you can ask your gynecologist for vaginal culture from discharge to determine the causative agent and for proper treatment
