There are several reasons for the occurrence of diarrhea and the treatment depends on the cause. First of all, it's recommended to a gastroenterologist to assess your condition. Right now, you should drink a lot of water, at least 3 liters to avoid dehydration. In cases of amoeba or giardiasis, metronidazole 500 mg can be used three times a day for a week.
