Well, the anser is no, the body itself can not get rid of the HIV infection.

How to diagnose HIV infection ?
It can be diagnosed through blood or saliva testing. There are different tests which are avaialble and include NAT to look for the actual virus in the blood or the viral load. It's good for rapid diagnosis and catching the virus in the blood in the first 2 weeks but it's so expensive and not routinly used. Antigen/antibody tests which appear in the blood between the 2nd and 8th week of exposure. Antibodies tests such as ELISA to look for HIV antibodies and if this test is positive, we do the Western blot test to confirm the diagnosis.
Treatment ?
Two drugs from one class, plus a third drug from a second class, are typically used
NNRTIs such as abacavir
NRTIs such as tenofovir
PIs such as atazanavir
