Delayed pregnancy or infertility is defined as the inability to get conception after 12 months of regular sexual intercourse without using any contraceptive method.

You have to visit a gynacologist for clinical examination and investigations as aemen analysis, testosterone level in men, prostate and semen canals examination, abdomen and pelvis US, TSH, Free T4 for thyroid diease, and LH, FSH, Prolactin...etc

Causes of infertility:

In many cases, there is no known cause of infertility, and it may be due to

• Causes related to husband as low sperms, varicocele, low testosterone...etc
• Causes related to wife as ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, hormonal problems...etc
• Nutritional problems
