Im diabete and on medication... last 2 months...
Im diabete and on medication... last 2 months before i started lentas insuline but surpringly suget level could not controlled then i stopped and started glucovan 500mg/2.5mg morning/afternoon/evening. Now i have controlled. But im worried why insuline was not working..

what are the causes of non responce to insulin and how to deal with it
non response to insulin may be due to injection of insulin in the same place in the abdomen which cause changes in the tissue under skin that prevent insulin absorption so to solve this problem then you should change the postition of insulin injection every time , other possible cause is in adequate storage of insulin so you should store onsulin in appropriate temprature
and if your blood sugar become controlled on glucovan then you should continue on it
what are the investigations that should be done in diabetic patient
you should follow up with the endocrinologist and has HBA1c done to make sure that your your blood sugar is controlled and you should have your retina examined by fundoscopy by the ophthalmologist and you should has urin analysis done to exclude proteinuria and kidney affection
what are the complications of diabetes
peripheral neuropathy
renal impairment
retinal affection
