I have cough for more than 2 months now . I took...
I have cough for more than 2 months now . I took medics for brochuties and Cough variant asthma, but still I am having cough, slight whitis mucus while cough and chest irritation I feel. What is the best medics I can have ? Do I need to take any inhalers to fix the lungs allergies or it's only bronchial issue?

What is the treatment for cough?
There are many causes that lead to cough which will be mentioned later. Due to the spread of the Corona pandemic, infection with the virus must initially be excluded. In case the COVID-19 has been excluded, some remedies can be used to relieve cough which contain dextromethorphan. In addition to use antihistamines such as loratadine, and avoiding polluted places, exposure to dust and dirt, drinking plenty of fluids and warm drinks, taking care of good nutrition, taking vitamin C, and avoiding exposure to cold air. Furthermore, in case of bacterial infection, an antibiotic such as levofloxacin can be used, with the possibility of using a bronchodilator such as SALBUTAMOL as in asthma. Please note, if there is no reason for cough, Codeine is a good choice to treatment.

Clinical medical examination and taking your medical history by a specialist doctor. Complete blood test (CBC) to detect the presence of infections or anemia, PCR examination to detect infection with the Corona virus, and a chest x-ray can also be done to detect the presence of infections or lung fibrosis
