Treatment of vaginal bleeding :
The treatment is being decided according to the cause of your symptoms after doing investigations and medical examination and determining the cause, the diagnosis and treatment are detected by the doctor .
The treatment also includes drugs help to stop bleeding containing Tranexamic acid, non-steroidal anti inflammatory like Ibuprofen and hormonal drugs like combined contraceptives pills, antibiotics in case of bacterial infection and anti fungal in case of fungal infection containing Miconazole or Ketoconazole, in addition to the must of keeping this area clean and dry to avoid infection .
Diagnosis of vaginal bleeding :
The diagnosis is made by taking full history and clinical examination of the patient and doing investigations including blood investigations like CBC, inflammatory and infection markers ESR and CRP, random and fasting blood glucose level, HbA1c level, urine analysis, urine culture, culture for vaginal discharge, tumor markers and doing pelvic and abdominal ultrasound, endoscopy and taking sample for histopathological examination .
