Treatment of the urinary tract infection  :

The treatment is being decided according to the cause of your symptoms after doing investigations and clinical examination and determining  the cause and then the diagnosis and treatment are decided  by the doctor .
Your symptoms are consistent with urinary tract infection and the treatment includes antibiotics containing Nitrofurantoin or Trimethoprime and sulfamethoxazole, pain killers containing Paracetamol, non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen and anti inflammatory drugs containing Chymotrypsin .
In addition, you've to drink plenty of fluids and avoid caffeine, alcohol and smoking .

Diagnosis of urinary tract infection :

The diagnosis is made by taking full history and clinical examination of the patient and doing investigations including blood investigations like CBC, inflammatory and infection marks ESR and CRP, kidney functions, urine analysis, urine culture and doing pelvic and abdominal ultrasound and abdominal x-ray .

Symptoms of urinary tract infection :

- urgency to urinate

- frequent urination

- pain while urinating 

- burning while urinating 

- bloody urine

- turbidity of urine

- bad smell of urine

- feeling the strong need to urinate despite having an empty bladder 
- groin pain and groin pressure
