Hi...I'm feeling left abdominal pain for 2 days...

Treatment :

The treatment is being decided according to the cause of your symptoms after doing investigations and medical examination and determining  the cause and then the diagnosis and treatment are decided by the doctor .
The treatment also includes pain killers containing Paracetamol, anti inflammatory drugs containing Aminosalicylate and antibiotics in case of bacterial infection containing metronidazole and laxatives, in addition to the impotence of eating healthy food containing fibers to act as laxatives and avoid constipation and drinking plenty of fluids and avoid smoking, alcohol and much caffeine .

Diagnosis :

The diagnosis is made by taking full history and clinical examination of the patient and doing investigations including blood investigations like CBC, inflammatory and infection marks ESR and CRP, renal functions, levels of sodium and potassium,urine analysis, urine culture, stool analysis, tumor markers, doing pelvic and abdominal ultrasound and x-ray, barium enema, colon endoscopy and abdominal CT .

- bacterial infection

- irritable bowel syndrome 

- bowel inflammation 

- ulcers

- gastrointestinal inflammation 

- Stress
