Hey, I've had tendonitis in the shoulder joint...
Hey,
I've had tendonitis in the shoulder joint for some months, September. I got medicines and did physiotherapy. Did another MRI and I have effusion. Any suggestions how I can heal it at home.

Shoulder tendonitis treatment:
First of all, shoulder tendonitits is an inflammation of the rotator cuff or biceps tendon that connect the arm bone with shoulder. Regarding treatment, it depends on your age, symptmos, general health as well as the severity of your condition. It includes rest, using NSAIDS such as Ibuprofen 600mg twice a day, physiotherapy and strengthening exercises. If there is no improvement, steroid injections might be a good choice. If all the previous techniques have failed to improve the condtion, then surgery might the the last option.
Diagnosis:
History and physical exam to be done by an orthopedic surgeon. Complete blood count to check for infection. X-ray for the shoulder, Ultrasound and MRI as it gives a detailed image.
