What is the treatment of High fever ?
You need to do few tests in the nearest medical center for complete clinical assessment and evaluation . Besides you have to follow the following Bed rest and to d rink enough amount of water every day and eat well balanced and healthy diet that include essential nutrients . You should also take Antipyretic as Paracetamol for the fever with treatment of any underlying condition as Bacterial infection such as Augmentin or Levofloxacin for lung infection . sometimes you can take vitamins such as vitamin c for common cold .
What are the causes of High Fever ?
- Throat infection .
- Tonsilitis .
- Common cold .
- Lung infection .
- Ear infection .
- Infected tooth .
- Skin infection .
- Urinary tract infection .
- Leukemia .

What are the tests needed for fever ?
Clinical assessment for any signs and symptoms such as fever and cough with Complete blood count for infection and Chest X-ray for pneumonia . You have to do Urine anaylsis for severe infection . Other tests such as ESR and CRP as an inflammatory markers for the severity of infection and Blood culture for the appropraite antibiotics .
