Hi I have high fever pain in my throat and terrible headache no cough and no running nose as yet I am alone at home should I go to some hospital I am in dubai dizziness is there no breathing issues yet I took aromas 500 yesterday and today along with blue panadol please suggest tomorrow the person will come from the lab for my covid test

Treatment of fever and throat pain:
According to your description, you can use paracetamol 500 mg 3-4 times daily, and you have to drink good amount of hot fluids, and you can use cetrizine 10 mg once daily for 5 days, and if there is bacterial infection, you can use azithromycin 500 mg once daily for 3-5 days.
Diagnosis of the cause of fever and throat pain:
It depends on the clinical examination of your doctor and investigations as CBC to detect infection, PCR and chest x-ray to rule out COVID-19 infection
Causes of fever and throat pain:
It may be due to:
- Viral infection which associated with low grade fever
- Bacterial infection which associated with high grade fever
- COVID-19 infection which associated with cough, arthralgia, dyspnea

What is the treatment of High fever ?
You need to do few tests in the nearest medical center for complete clinical assessment and evaluation . Besides you have to follow the following Bed rest and to d rink enough amount of water every day and eat well balanced and healthy diet that include essential nutrients . You should also take Antipyretic as Paracetamol for the fever with treatment of any underlying condition as Bacterial infection such as Augmentin or Levofloxacin for lung infection .
