Can you stop menstruation ?
There is no drug which can stop menstruation if it has started , this can lead to menstrual irregularities or other complications .
How can menstruation be postponed?
This can be done by contacting a family doctor or a gynecologist, who can prescribe medications such as contraceptive pills if necessary. Take a combined oral contraceptive for 7 days and don't stop, or take additional medications to delay your period, such as Steronate or Sidolt Noor twice a day in the morning and evening before your period. The period will come down within 2-4 days of discontinuing treatment, thus it is meant to be postponed by 5 days. Also, you should not utilize the medication for more than 14 days at a time, as this may produce a menstrual cycle imbalance.
