What is a PSA :
- Prostate-specific antigen is a blood test that measures prostate-specific antigen in the blood, which is a protein produced by cancerous and non-cancerous cells in the prostate, and therefore it is present in a normal small percentage in the blood, but if its levels are high, this indicates the presence of a problem
- If the test is run during prostatitis, it will also be high and this may affect the diagnosis. Therefore, the test must be re-run after the inflammation has ended, or at least a month after the first test.

Importance of test:

Results:
