Treatment of the urinary tract infection :

The treatment is being decided according to the cause of your symptoms after doing investigations and medical examination and determining the cause and then the diagnosis and treatment are decided by the doctor .
Your symptoms are consistent with urinary tract infection and the treatment includes pain killers containing Paracetamol, non-steroidal anti inflammatory like Ibuprofen and antibiotics in case of bacterial infection containing Nitrofurantoin or Trimethoprime and Sulfamethoxazole .

Diagnosis of urinary tract infection :

The diagnosis is made by taking full history and clinical examination of the patient and doing investigations including blood investigations like CBC, inflammatory and infection marks ESR and CRP, renal functions, urine analysis, urine culture and doing pelvic and abdominal ultrasound and
x-ray .

Symptoms of urinary tract infection :

- Urgency 

- pain while micturation

- burning during micturation

- bloody urine

- groin pain

- frequent urination

- lower abdominal pain

- feeling the need to urinate despite having an empty bladder
