Test Name: Mri Spine Cervical W/O Contrast

PLAIN MRI OF CERVICAL SPINETechnique: T1, T2, STIR.Findings:Mild diffuse annular bulge in C3-C4 intervertebral disc indenting on the thecal sac and bilateral exitingnerve roots, predominantly on left side.Mild diffuse annular bulge in C4-C5 intervertebral disc indenting on the thecal sac.Cystic lesion noted along C4-C5 exiting nerve roots on both sides, measuring 2.4 mm on the right side and3.4 mm on left side.Diffuse annular bulge with broad-based right paracentral protrusion in C5-C6 intervertebral disc indentingon the thecal sac and cord. Spinal canal measures 10 mm at this level.Cystic lesion noted along C5-C6 exiting nerve roots on both sides, measuring 2.8 mm on the right side and5.1 mm on left side.Diffuse annular bulge with broadbase left paracentral and foraminal extrusion in C6-C7 intervertebral disccausing mild compression of thecal sac, cord and exiting nerve root on left side. Mild narrowing of neuralforamina and lateral recess noted at this level on left side. Spinal canal measures 8.2 mm at this level. Mild desiccation of cervical intervertebral discs, predominantly C2-C3, C3-C4 and C4-C5 intervertebraldiscs.Loss of cervical lordosis.Cervical vertebral bodies show normal alignment and marrow signal intensity.Atlanto-axial joints are normal. No evidence of chiari malformation. No evidence of syringomyelia. Cervico-medullary and cranio-vertebral junction is normal. Spinal cord is normal in size and signal intensity. No evidence of intradural / extradural / intramedullary mass lesion. Pre and paravertebral soft tissues are normal. Facet joints are normal.

Diffuse annular bulge with broadbase left paracentral and foraminal extrusion in C6-C7intervertebral disc causing mild compression of thecal sac, cord and exiting nerve root on left side.Mild narrowing of neural foramina and lateral recess noted at this level on left side. * Perineural cyst noted along C4-C5 and C5-C6 exiting nerve roots on both sides.* Mild desiccation of cervical intervertebral discs, predominantly C2-C3, C3-C4 and C4-C5intervertebral discs.* Loss of cervical lordosis.
