Autism is a disorder in neurodevelopment condition that affects the development in three areas (dimensions), the first of which is the lack of growth and development of communication skills. Second, the difficulty in social interaction is related to communication skills as well. Thirdly, the strong attachment to routine work and maintaining the patterns and performance of the actions at one phase and a difficulty of the ability to play and fun

There are many symptoms of autism but some may be symptoms of other diseases, and parents are the most to be able to detect the condition of their child

The most notable signs:

  • Difficulty in blending with other children
  • Ignoring others as he/she is a deaf. Rejecting and resisting education and training
  • Not asking for help from others when it is needed
  • Non-friendly, conservative and cold
  • Looking too much to his game-toys, and an abnormal relationship with his toys
  • Not fearing from dangerous things such as fire and cars
  • Monotony and rejection of change
  • Laughing for no reason
  • Constant screaming for no reason
  • Continuous movement for no objective
  • Non-focus in gazing with any eye contact, which is the most important sign of autism, if he/she communicates with you by looking and he turns to find you when you enters the room, he most likely not to be autistic

 

If these symptoms exist, you should go for treatment, especially that the child is still young and that the early detection of the condition helps a lot in the treatment process, you should go to a center for autism treatment, and to perform a diagnosis and develop a full treatment program to develop those skills with the help of the family

First, do not make "autism" as everything in your life so as not to affect the family, but on the other hand, make it a reason for the correlation and unity of the family to face this disease. The role of the family is the basic in the treatment process because you monitor all of the child's behaviors that he does not do it at home in front of those who monitor him and put the program of treatment.

Your main role is to transfer all the behaviors of the child and his interactions to the specialists of the treatment and must be provided an atmosphere of acceptance for the child and to deal with him as a natural person in the family, in addition to observing all of his actions. Learning comes through his interests, for example, if the child cares about cars, so his education skills have to be cognitive and language through car pictures and sounds of cars and when there is a problem occurs to him, the family must follow-up and experiment all solutions by applying the best methods and the best observation methods as well. Moreover, the family must have the ability to continue in developing the child and to help him in communicating with the community through his interests, as such methods will have a very effective impact in the treatment process.

Finally, the most important thing is the cohesion of the family and absence of no member of the family. The child must get the attention of his mother without the father or vice versa and the extent of accepting the child and your desire to change his behaviors.
