Trreatment of DVT
DVT is a state of thrombosis and occlusion of deep veins of the legs that will cause many symptomes and migrate toward the lungs to cause Pulmonary embolism, its treated using Rivaroxiban 15 mg tab twice daily for 3 weeks then 20 mg tab once daily for the next 6 months and consult a hematologist
Investigations
After proper physical exam, cbc should be done ,Coagulation profile PTT, PT, INR , and D dimer testing ,Double US OF lower limbs and if inconclusive CT venography of lower limbs
