Treatment of water in fallopian tubes
Usually, there is no water in fallopian tubes. Usually, it indicates infection or inflammation in tube. You can take ceftriaxone 500 injection IM with metronidazole 500 mg twice daily for ten days and azithromycin 500 mg once daily for fives days to relieve any inflammation in tubes.
Investigations to do
CBC for level or wbc and hemoglobin. Urine analysis to exclude UTIs. TVS for your uterus and ovaries. Abdominal US. Pelvic CT or MRI for further evaluation.
Causes
There are many causes like
- Inflammation or infections follopian tubes
- edema in tubes.
- congenital abnormalities in tubes.
