I have too much acne coming daily and getting dry...

Treatment of the acne :

The treatment of acne includes topical drugs like creams and ointments containing Retinoid, topical antibiotics containing Erythromycin or Clindamycin with Benzoyl peroxide, topical drugs containing Salicylic acid, systemic antibiotics containing erythromycin and hormonal therapy like combined oral contraceptive pills, in addition to steroid therapy and laser treatment .
The treatment is being decided by the dermatologist .

Diagnosis :

The diagnosis is made by taking full history and clinical examination of the patient, examination of skin and doing investigations including blood investigations like CBC, inflammation and infection marks ESR and CRP and taking sample of skin for examination .

Symptoms of the acne :

- Itching 

- redness 

- inflammation 

- Pus

- papules

- Pustules

- cysts
- crusting of skin bumps
- whiteheads
- blackheads
