No not yet dr .at first this was cut by ketchin knife but just very small and she took ampiclox cap for 3 days only and and now the finger lit bet swilling iching redness overall ..

Treatment of nail fungal infection:
Treatment depends on the degree of infection, so treatment may include just medication as miconazole cream twice daily and fluconazole 50 mg once daily for 5-10 days, and you may need surgical intervention to remove nail.
Diagnosis of nail fungal infection:
It depends on the clinical examination by a dermatologist and investigations as CBC to rule out bacterial infection and x-ray to rule out bone infection.
Symptoms of nail fungal infection:
- Pain
- Redness
- Swelling
- Bad odour
- Whitish discoloration
