Hi doctor Ali, I appreciate your information that you shared o this. But when I say side effects I mean the serious side effects. complications such bone weakness being claimed in this medcine and also high rate of infection? Do you believe that immunosuppressant cases can live safely particularly in this situation?

Immunosuppressants:
Immunosuppressants stop your immune system from damaging healthy cells and tissues, so they are medications that keep your immune system in check.

Do immunosuppressants affect bones?

Patients who receive immunosuppressive drugs frequently experience very rapid and clinically deleterious bone loss.

What are the potential risks or complications of immunosuppressants?

A suppressed immune system has a hard time fighting off infections. You have a higher risk of developing:
  • Blood infections like MRSA and sepsis.
  • Fungal infections like thrush and skin fungus.
  • Skin infections like cellulitis.
  • Respiratory infections, including colds, flu and pneumonia.

When should you call your healthcare provider?

You should call your healthcare provider if you experience:
  • Extreme fatigue or weakness.
  • Lower back pain.
  • Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or weight concerns.
  • Painful urination or frequent urination.
  • Signs of infection, including fever and chills.

Recommendation:

Follow up with your health provider.
