Good morning Sir,
My son is 8 years old.since 1week he is saying that he feels pain or burn in different parts of his body including chest,stomach , headache and feel vomiting,throat pain.also he feels a kind of stress or fear.yesterday his body temperature is little bit high (fever).so I gave him medopharm tablet.now the temperature is little bit ok.but other health issues are still same.
Sir,Kindly give us consultation for this matters .

Treatment of sore throat:
According to your description, you can use paracetamol 10 ml 3-4 times daily, and you have to drink good amount of hot fluids, and if there is bacterial infection, you can use azithromycin 10 ml once daily for 3-5 days.
Diagnosis of the cause of sore throat:
It depends on the clinical examination of your doctor and investigations as CBC to detect infection, PCR and chest x-ray to rule out COVID-19 infection
Causes of sore throat:
It may be due to:
- Viral infection which associated with low grade fever
- Bacterial infection which associated with high grade fever
- COVID-19 infection which associated with cough, arthralgia, dyspnea
