What to do for Fever ?
Actually, there are many causes for fever and the treatment depends on the cause. So it's recommended to visit the nearest medical center to you for further assessment. The treatment will include some medication to lower your temperature such as Paracetamol which can be given either orally or through one of your arm veins, and that depend on the severity of the condition you have.   If there as a bug (bacterial infection), then antibiotic such as ampicillin, Sulbactam, Ceftriaxone or erythromycin can be prescribed. Furthermore, it's recommended to apply cold compresses, sleep well, taking rest and drinking plenty of fluids .
 
 
 

Diagnosis:
The diagnosis is made by taking full history and clinical examination of the patient.  Some investigations such as blood investigations including CBC to check for infection, ESR and CRP for infection, renal function test, liver function test, LDH, urine analysis to chech for any bugs in your urine, urine culture, stool analysis, abdominal ultrasound/X-ray and chest x-ray.

- pneumonia
- Common cold 
- tonsillitis 
- urinary tract infection 
- bronchiolitis
- gastroenteritis 
- ear infection
