I have been in a laparoscopy dermoid cyts 10cm...
I have been in a laparoscopy dermoid cyts 10cm surgery removal a year ago but the swollen where the dermoid remove still the same sometime small and soft sometimes become big and hard sometime pain and sometimes not...why this not back to normal its been a year..thanks

Treatment of the problem:
Treatment depends on the cause, so treatment may be by observation only , or by antibiotic for bacterial infection as ogmentin 875 mg twice daily for 5-10 days, and you may need surgical intervention for pus cleaning.
Diagnosis of the cause of the problem:
It depends on the clinical examination by a surgeon and investigations as CBC to detect infection, ultrasound to detect nature of the swelling.
Causes of the problem:
It may be due to:
- Hematoma
- Local infection
- Hernia
