Types of contraception:
There are many types of contraception which include:

• Contraceptive pills (Birth Control pills) which is used once daily.
• Contraceptive patches which can be used as once weekly for 3 weeks.

• Intrauterine device IUD which can be replaced every 5 years or even more.

What are the types of birth contol pills ?
There are two main types of birth control pills which include the dual-containing oral contraceptive pills that contain estrogen and progesterone and single-containing progesterone-only birth control pills.

How to use the contraceptive pill?
The method of using the contraceptive pill depends on the type of pill that has been chosen. Usually the pills come in package for a period of 21 or 28 days. Those pills for a period of 21 days, all pills are active, as you take one pill daily for three continuous weeks at the same time every single day then stop for a week and them start another cycle. The other type which is a 28-day tablets that contain 21 active tablets and 7 inactive tablets in order to avoid forgetting the regular daily intake .
