Does cold cause frequent urination ?
Well, cold normally does not lead to frequent urination.

Treatment for frequent urination:
First of all, it's recommended to have a medical examination to determine with the doctor the cause of your symptoms, as treatment depends on the cause. If there is UTI, then it will be treated by antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin or levofloxacin. If there is diabetes, a healthy diet regimen should be followd and treatment program should be prescribed to  control the blood sugar level. If there is a tumor, it can be treated surgically. In addition, it is advised to quit smoking and reduce the intake of caffeine products during the day, such as coffee, tea, and others, as they increase diuresis.

Diagnosis:
History taking and clinical examination to be done by a urologist.  Complete blood test (CBC) to detect the presence of infections through high WBC cells, blood sugar to rule out diabetes urine analysis to rule UTI, semen analysis to rule out infection, pelvic ultrasound to rule out prostate enlargement and CT-scan if there is stones.

Causes of frequent urination:

• Urinary tract infections
• Diabetes mellitis
• High fluid intake
• Prostate enlargement and infection
• Smoking
• Some medications such as diuretics
• Overactive bladder
• Bladder tumors
• Others
