I have cysts in both ovaries, can it affects the chances of getting pregnant?

Well it depends on the the cause for these cysts to formed, and most probably you suffers from polycystic ovaries, and yes if may affects your chances of pregnancies. Polycystic ovaries is usually associated with an increase in LH, a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland and responsible for triggering ovulation. In women with healthy ovaries, the concentration of LH is low, which allows the egg to develop and grow inside the ovary to the extent that the egg becomes fully ripe for fertilization. Then a sudden rise in the level of LH occurs, causing the egg to leave the ovary and move to the fallopian tubes to meet the sperm and fertilization, and this usually happens on the 14th day of the regular cycle. The continuous rise in the LH hormone prevents the eggs from reaching their growth path and stops them to a certain extent. It contains ovas of different stages of growth and incomplete in the form of cysts on the ovary..The direct cause of the rise in LH is not known with accuracy, but it is associated with a rise in male hormones, as well as obesity and the body’s immunity towards insulin. Usually, treatment begins with following a healthy diet, controlling obesity, measuring sugar levels, and treating it if it rises. Also, in case the previous steps fail, we can come to the drugs, like clomiphene citrate, which stimulates the eggs to mature and go out for fertilization. Medicines such as glucophage (metformin) are also used.
