Hi. MY MOTHER IS 43 AND SHE IS ALREADY PRE DIABETIC AND HAD THYROID BUT RECENTLY SHE'S BEEN SUFFERING FROM LEFT SIDE CHEST PAIN WHENEVER IT HAPPENS SHE TAKES A DEEP BREATH INHALE AND EXHALE BUT IT STILL OCCURS FOR A WHILE THEN AGAIN COMES BACK NEXT DAY ALSO HER HANDS BEEN PAINING ALL THE TIME. SHE ALWAYS ASSUMES THAT THIS IS HEART RELATED AND ALSO I ASSUMED TOO BUT I JUST HOPE ITS NOT HEART RELATED OR IT MAY JUST BE A MUSCLE STRAIN THAT COMES FROM THE BACKSIDE. I WANT TO KNOW THE REAL REASON BEHIND THIS PLS LET ME KNOW

What is the treatment of chest pain?
You should know that the treatment depends on the cause, that's why you should see the doctor in order to reach the diagnosis, then you will be treated accordingly. For example, if you hav anemia then ferrous sulphate tabs, folic acid or vitamin B-12 tabs will be prescribed. In case of heart ptoblem, there are different medications that can be used such as beta blockers, ACE ihnibitors and others according to your condition. Furthermore, you should get enogh rest and try to avoid any physical or emotional stress. You should also drink enough amounts of water at least 2 liter per day.
